Our school was invited to participate in the New Media in Education Fiesta, (NMiEF). The fiesta is an international event organized by Innova Junior College, the Centre of Excellence for New Media and supported by the Media Development Authority in Singapore. It is held on Second Life where participants attended virtual sharing sessions on innovative and effective new media-related pedagogical practices from different places of the world. The topic of our presentation is “Use of Technology in Cultivating 21st Century Leaders”. The presenters include Mr. TM Tong, Mr. Paul Marriott, Mr. Dereck Wong and Mr. Alan Cheng. We also invited students Mr. Terrence Yip Sing Chun, Mr. Pang Yin Chong and Ms Jessica Lam Yuet Tung to share their experiences in student’s perspective. This is a new experience to have virtual conference on Second Life.
