Through their participation in ECA, students can learn to communicate, to cooperate with other people and enrich their life experiences. If students are given the opportunities to organise\u00a0 ECA, they will gain first-hand experience of programme planning and leadership, thus enabling them to discover and develop their potential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Aims of ECA<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinforcing classroom learning and allowing students to put their knowledge and skills into practice;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facilitating the teaching of certain skills and the inculcation of certain values which may present difficulties in a formal classroom setting;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promoting students\u2019 personal development by broadening their interests, developing their potential and providing opportunities for character formation and leadership training;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promoting students\u2019 social development by offering opportunities for the broadening of their social experiences, the practice of social skills and the internalisation of moral and social values; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Making school life more challenging and interesting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>General Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All S1 \u2013 S3 students must choose at least one ECA to take part in. ECA includes academic and aesthetic teams, sports teams, music teams, uniform groups and interest classes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students who can keep a good balance between academic and non-academic development can choose 2-3 ECA.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>ECA Summary List<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a
