[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”2429″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]On 22 nd November 2017, a team of teachers (A.K.A. LTPSS Mo Family) from Law
\nTing Pong Secondary School held a special Movember booth to allow students to vote
\nfor how they were to shave their beards and moustaches.<\/p>\n

The Movember Foundation was founded in 2003 with the commitment of allowing
\nmen to live happier, healthier and longer lives. Since 2003, it has raised over
\n$6billion, which has funded men\u2019s research projects and health programs related to
\nphysical inactivity, mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.<\/p>\n

This was the fourth year in a row that LTPSS held a month-long campaign to raise
\nawareness and funds for the Movember Foundation. The LTPSS Mo Family grew and
\ngroomed their beards and moustaches throughout November. They braved the
\nirritation of the Mo and sacrificed their handsome faces all in the name of charity.
\nInformative displays and announcements were made to educate students on the aims
\nand values of this charity.<\/p>\n

On the day of the voting, students and teachers made donations to choose the design
\nwhich they wanted to see their \u201cbeloved\u201d teachers shave their beards and moustaches.
\nBy the end of the event, students revelled in the joy of deciding the fate of the Mo
\nFamily and, in the process, raised a sizeable sum for the Movember Foundation. Mo
\nSistas joined in by painting on moustaches to further increase the presence of Mos
\naround the campus. This really made students stop to think about what was
\nhappening.<\/p>\n

Parents also showed their support to the Mo Family by making additional donations.
\nIn total, Law Ting Pong Secondary School raised $8,306 and donated this to Hong
\nKong Cancer Fund, Movember Foundation\u2019s partner in Hong Kong. To support the
