We are thrilled to share that they have received\u00a0the Merit Award in the Junior Secondary Division.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The theme of this year\u2019s invention competition is Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11. Inspired by this, participants are required to build robots and systems that create inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities or communities, thereby contributing to a better world.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The students deployed three Artec Studuino:bit units as earthquake-detection stations and used a computer as a control centre to build an IoT seismic-detection system running the MQTT\/Wi\u2011Fi communication protocol.
