Welcome to the Spanish Department at LTPSS! As a local school, we are proud to be one of the few in Hong Kong to offer Spanish. Learning Spanish opens doors to global opportunities and new cultures.
Academic Pathway
S1 Foundation: All S1 students learn basic Spanish skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
S2 Onward (Elective): Students can choose to keep studying Spanish as an elective subject from S2 through upper secondary.
HKDSE & DELE Qualification: Elective students prepare for the official DELE exam (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language), an internationally recognized qualification for universities and future careers.
Hispanic Culture & Activities
At LTPSS, learning Spanish goes beyond the classroom with fun, real-world experiences:
Annual Hispanic Week: A fun week of school-wide activities including Latin music, dance, cooking lessons, and games.
Hong Kong Spanish Speech & Culture Festival: Our school is a proud co-organizer of this event alongside major international schools in Hong Kong, giving our students a great platform to perform, compete, and celebrate Hispanic culture.
Annual Study Tour to Spain: Every year, students can join a trip to Spain to practice their Spanish, visit famous places, and experience the culture firsthand.
