New Senior Secondary (NSS) Subjects Offered in LTPSSUnder the 334 education system, students have to complete 3 years of junior secondary education and 3 years of senior secondary education. Then they will attend the Hong Kong Diploma if Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination and eligible students will continue their studies in local universities for 4 years.
At the NSS level, students must study 4 core subjects (English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) and 2 to 3 electives.
LTPSS offers 15 NSS electives for students to choose:
- English in Literature
- Chinese Literature
- Science
- Combined Science
- Integrated Science
- Economics
- Chinese History
- Health Management & Social Care
- Geography
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Tourism & Hospitality Studies
- History
- Information & Communication Technology
- Business, Accounting & Financial Studies
ENGLISH is used as the medium of instruction in ALL subjects except Chinese Language, Chinese Literature and Chinese History.
