Subject : Inno Expo @Tai Po 2026

We are proud to announce that a team of our students recently presented their innovative AI project, “Smart Bus Stop”, at the Inno Expo@Tai Po 2026, held on 1 and 2 March 2026 at Hong Kong Science Parks. The event was officiated by distinguished guests, including Ms. Wong Yuen Yung, Belinda, JP, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, Dr. Chan Pik-wa, Gloria, Deputy Secretary for Education and Mr. Armstrong Lee Hon Cheung, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Education City Limited.

Our school’s project harnesses real-time public transport data and artificial intelligence to deliver accurate bus arrival predictions and personalised recommendations to passengers. A standout technical achievement is its full operation in Cantonese, which could be technically challenging.

Guided by the principles of a smart city, the “Smart Bus Stop” features an integrated electronic control system for real-time bus data monitoring. It places strong emphasis on energy efficiency and enhanced passenger experience.

The team’s outstanding work not only demonstrated creativity, technical expertise, and a genuine commitment to tackling real-world urban challenges in Hong Kong but also earned the prestigious First Runner-up in the Most Popular Project category. We are deeply grateful for the enthusiastic support and visits from our fellow students, parents and alumni during the event.
