My name is Timmy Hung Chun Ting. I’ve been teaching since 2009. I studied at University of Hong Kong for my Post Graduate Diploma of Education.
I moved to Canada when I was young and I studied under the Canadian Education system until I graduated from my bachelor degree at university level. I loved the learning atmosphere and the freedom of learning while I was there. I did not feel pressured. I learnt to read for enjoyment. The more I read, the more I gained.
From the past few years of teaching, I have noticed one important thing that students quite often lack – a good learning attitude. “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” If you have good learning attitude, you can overcome most challenges set by the education system and turn them into good opportunities. On the other hand, when students always complain but never really look at the bright side of things, they will never succeed. Therefore, I hope I can help my students to develop better learning attitude.
Think positive. Be positive.
