Hi everyone! I am Mr. Mak, a physics and integrated science teacher in LTPSS.
Being a science teacher, my interest in science has developed since I was a secondary school student (similar to you), while the discipline which interested me the most is the physics subject in senior forms. Among all the topics in the wonderful world of science, I am especially interested in learning about weather (or meteorology), and later on I am also interested in knowing more about space and astronomy too.
Choosing to become a science teacher, my passion in teaching has emerged since I was studying in the university, during which I have experienced education works in various settings, built up my interests in science teaching through jobs and programs, and broadened my horizons in different dimensions.
To me, while science and physics might or might not be the most interesting subject for everyone of you, yet I would really like to join you to explore the points which could spark your interests on them, so that you all can become another science lover, physics lover, or a science learner. On the other hand, while each of you will pursue a future in various different dimensions, the value that I wish one could acquire from science learning, is to be able to think logically, make decisions with reasons, and to be brave towards every challenges in our life.
Hope to see you at school!
