“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” – Nelson Mandela.
Empathy is indispensable for an NCS teacher. Every time when I am teaching, it recalls the situation and difficulties of being a foreign language learner. I believe that there is no shortcut to learn a language, the only true way to learn a language is by putting in the time and practice it repeatedly.
My hobbies include traveling, diving and watching movies. I enjoy sharing my culture with other travelers who come with different nationality and background. Despite that divers have different skin tones and speak different language. We all speak the same language while diving.
I believe that learning a second language is like possessing a second soul. Language is a key to unlock the door of the unknown world. My motto is never stop learning. Knowledge, like a sea, is boundless; only through hard study can one reach the destination. I hope all of you can always be curious about the world and never stop to learn something new.
