For the outgoing Clap Tech multimedia storytelling students in 2023, the students got to travel to Osaka for 4 days. They were given opportunities to visit such sites as NHK Osaka, to see the productions of nature documentaries, and how the sound effects of these documentaries were created using objects. A campus tour to Kyoto University allows the students to experience life as a college student in one of the most prestigious universities in Japan, if not the world.
With periods of free time in the daytime and nighttime for students to roam around in the streets of Osaka to relax and have fun, with some of the recreational time used to visit museums regarding Japanese culture and well-known places such as EXPOCity, Kuromon Market and the National Museum of Art, Osaka etc. The overseas trip equipped the students both in cultural enrichment as well as multimedia creativity exploration.
